The tool should not decide how you think
Kiteloom started with a problem every product team knows: an idea gets sketched somewhere, redrawn somewhere else, and diagrammed somewhere else again — and by the third copy nobody can say which one is true.
So it is built on one document model, on one canvas, with no modes to switch between. A sketch does not get exported into a wireframe tool; it matures in place, next to the diagram that explains it, edited by the people who drew it.
what we refuse to compromise
- 01
One file, one truth
If a decision lives in two documents, it does not live anywhere. Every tool reads and writes the same objects.
- 02
Speed is a feature
A canvas that stutters changes how you draw. We budget frame time like we budget money.
- 03
Your data leaves freely
Open export formats — PNG and SVG — on every plan. Lock-in is not a retention strategy.
- 04
Fewer, better surfaces
We remove panels more often than we add them. A tool earns its place on the rail or it lives in the command palette.
